Craft Beer Bar. Local craft beer and cider is poured here, as well as liquor and wine.

I am always intrigued by how Haymaker Bar and Kitchen accomplished their inviting beauty. The bright tan of the long wood bar, the brown leather couch inspired seats and the large open windows looking out on 29th street makes this drinking establishment impossible to walk by without stopping in for a craft brew, unique bourbon or just one of their tasty burgers.

With 18 well selected craft beers on tap there is always a brew for every palate. Combine that with the craft cans that can be brought to go and you have a craft beer hunters paradise. If craft beer is not your style the full bar and bourbon selection will satisfy anyone else looking to enjoy a night out.

Haymaker Bar and Kitchen offers small bar snacks to go as well as a full lunch and dinner menu for those who want to sit for a meal and a glass of wine, a draft of beer or a classic cocktail.

The decor is 20th century farmhouse style that makes you feel like you are visiting someone’s house. They have a back room that is extra cozy where a painting of Teddy Roosevelt hangs adding to that Americania vibe. The whole. It gets quite busy during the weekdays after work and can be hard to find some space. If that is not your scene try visiting in on the weekends for brunch.
